The line for this game is Michigan by 6 points.

Michigan looks to climb back into the Top 25 when it hosts Virginia Tech as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Wednesday. The Wolverines entered the Coaches’ Poll for the first time in over a year by winning the 2K Classic in New York City, but tumbled out after just a one-week stay following a 61-46 setback to No. 23 South Carolina; they’ll look to get back on track by extending their non-conference home winning steak to nine games.

• LeDay led the way with 19 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots as the Hokies erased a halftime deficit to down the Cornhuskers. Ahmed Hill, who leads the ACC in 3-point field goals per game (3.3), scored all 12 of his points in the second half while Seth Allen added nine points as Virginia Tech held Nebraska to 29.8 percent shooting from the floor.

• Zak Irvin bounced back from a 2-for-13 shooting performance against South Carolina to score a team-high 14 points in the 64-57 win over Mount St. Mary’s on Saturday, and needs seven more 3-point field goals to pass Tim Hardaway Jr. (202) for sixth place on Michigan’s all-time list. Mortiz Wagner matched his season high with 13 points while Derrick Walton Jr. added 12 to move to within 35 points of becoming the 51st Wolverine to reach 1,000 for his career.

• Virginia Tech is 3-7 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

• Michigan has won four of its last five regular-season games against ACC opponents.

• The Wolverines are fifth nationally in free-throw percentage (82.3) heading into Tuesday’s games.
