[7:03 PM] #6 Duke & #2 Villanova

Which TEAM will have the LARGER MARGIN of VICTORY?

#6 Duke (v. William & Mary) or Tie

#2 Villanova (v. Charleston)

The Tribe’s lone defeat was a 91-58 loss to Louisville and the wins were by an average of 41 points against Bridgewater and Presbyterian. William & Mary knocked down 15 3-pointers in Saturday’s 89-59 rout of Presbyterian as senior shooting guard Daniel Dixon made five while scoring 20 points. The 6-foot-6 Dixon averages a team-leading 12.7 points while senior forward Omar Prewitt (11 points per game) and freshman forward Nathan Knight (10 per game) also average in double digits.

Sophomore guard Luke Kennard is off to a strong start and he drained four 3-pointers while scoring a season-best 24 points in the win over Rhode Island, and he is 13-for-25 from 3-point range while averaging a team-leading 18.2 points. Backup freshman guard Frank Jackson is averaging 15.6 points while junior guard Grayson Allen (15 per game, 1,007 career points) became the 65th player in Duke history to reach 1,000 career points. Jefferson has provided solid play in the interior while averaging 13 points and 10 rebounds and senior guard Matt Jones is chipping in 12.2 points per game.

Junior guard Joe Chealey (15.6) and sophomore forward Jarrell Brantley (12.8) are the lone players averaging in double digits for the Cougars, who are averaging 62.6 points per game. Chealey has scored in double digits in four of five games while Brantley has tallied in double figures in all five games and is averaging a team-leading 8.4 rebounds. Charleston is shooting 37 percent from the field, including a porous 26.7 percent from 3-point range.

Hart is one of four Wildcats scoring in double digits and sophomore guard Jalen Brunson (12.8), senior forward Kris Jenkins (12.6) and sophomore forward Mikal Bridges (11.6) are the others. Jenkins is shooting just 39.2 percent from the field as he aims to recover the form he displayed last season — his biggest shot being his buzzer-beating 3-pointer to slay North Carolina in the national championship game. The Wildcats have 38 steals — compared to 16 by the opponents — with Hart recording 10 of the thefts.
