• The Seattle Sounders have a number of injury problems ahead of the Western Conference final second leg against the Colorado Rapids. Clint Dempsey is out for the rest of the season, with Andreas Ivanschitz and Jordan Morris both doubts. The latter in particular should make it after playing the first leg.

• Dillon Serna is a doubt for the Colorado Rapids and will face a late fitness ahead of the conference final second leg against the Seattle Sounders. Tim Howard is also a concern but he will start the match.

• The Colorado Rapids gave themselves an excellent shot of making it to the MLS Cup final by scoring an away goal at CenturyLink Field on Tuesday. They must grind out a result at home like they did against the LA Galaxy.

• If Jordan Morris can find his groove in front of goal, like he did for the first leg, the Seattle Sounders have to be considered favourites for this tie.

• This is a tough one to call, but the Sounders might just edge it.
