Levante picked up a huge point last time out with a dramatic home draw with Atletico Madrid. Enis Bardhi returned from injury after two months to score two penalties, including one in the 90th minute thanks to a controversial handball decision. That result followed a 5-3 defeat to Sevilla and a goalless draw with Getafe for Levante with new manager Javier Pereira getting off to a mixed start.

Like Levante, Granada stole a late point of their own last time out. The Andalusian side made it three games without defeat thanks to Jorge Molina’s equaliser against former side Getafe with 20 seconds left on the clock, just before the 97th minute, though Luis Suarez had missed a penalty in comical fashion earlier in the game. Prior to that outing, Granada drew with an in-form Osasuna and beat Sevilla, so there are signs that Robert Moreno’s side are improving after a very rocky start.

Despite that, Levante are starting to look a threat again going forward with five goals in two games against two very good sides, and they might just pick up a much-needed first win of the season in front of their home fans here.
