•  Manchester United are 16 points off first and eight behind Arsenal in fourth ahead of the midweek Premier League fixtures. Jose Mourinho’s side are already out of the title race and a defeat here would surelt end their hopes of a top-four finish before Christmas.

•  Arsenal will be high on confidence after crushing Tottenham 4-2 in Unai Emery’s first north London derby. The Gunners are unbeaten in all competitions since August and Emery has done a fantastic job since replacing Arsene Wenger in the summer.

•  Arsenal haven’t won a Premier League match at Old Trafford since September 2006 but have a golden chance to change that here. United are in disarray and Mourinho’s time at the club appears to be coming to an end.
