Who will WIN this matchup?

Oregon Ducks (8-4)

@ Boise State Broncos (5-7)

Current odds:

Oregon Ducks: (-120)

Boise State Broncos: (+100)

The line for this game is Oregon by 1 point.

• Oregon is a battered team as it looks to defeat host Boise State for the second time this season on Saturday. Standout freshman center Bol Bol will sit out his fourth game with a foot injury, and he is one of three key Ducks who will miss the contest. Bol, who averages 21 points and 9.6 rebounds, will be joined on the sidelines by sophomore forwards Kenny Wooten (broken jaw) and Abu Kigab (foot). Wooten suffered his injury in Oregon’s last contest – a 57-47 loss to Baylor – and coach Dana Altman said he will miss four to six weeks.

• Ducks junior point guard Payton Pritchard scored 19 points as Oregon posted a 66-54 win over Boise State on Dec. 15, while Broncos junior guard Alex Hobbs tied his career best with 21 points and drained a career-high five 3-pointers in that one.

• The Ducks will rely heavily on Pritchard (13.1 points, 4.5 assists) and senior forward Paul White (8.7 points) with the trio of players out. Altman also is hoping that freshman forward Miles Norris (two games played) and senior guard Ehab Ahim (30.3 percent shooting) can step up and plug the holes in the rotation. “We’ll see how Miles comes along. Obviously he’s going to get an opportunity with Abu out,” Altman told reporters. “We need Ehab to step up and give us some better minutes. It’s still a work in progress. We’re going to have to have guys really get better and continue to develop. They’re going to have to play different roles and get comfortable playing different roles, which has been a real problem for us here early in the year.”

• The Broncos established a season high for points in an 83-71 win over Pacific in their last game. Boise State shot just 35.3 percent from the field in the loss to Oregon two weeks ago with Hobbs (8.4 average) making 5-of-7 3-point attempts while the rest of the squad went 2-for-9. Junior guard RJ Williams leads the Broncos in scoring (15.2) and rebounding (6.9) while junior guard Justinian Jessup (12.9 points, team-high 31 3-pointers) and senior forward Zach Haney (10 points per game) also average in double digits.

• Oregon has won seven of the previous nine meetings.

• Jessup’s 171 3-pointers are tied for ninth place in Broncos’ history with Mike Tolman (1992-93, 1995-98).

• Pritchard matched his season high of four 3-pointers in the loss to Baylor.
