• Junior guard Jason Preston (Orlando, Fla.) led the way with 19 points while being a perfect 8-of-8 from the field. He also grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists. Sophomore guard Lunden McDay (Akron, Ohio) scored 18 points, going 6-of-9 from the field and 2-of-3 from three. Sophomore guard Miles Brown (Rochester, N.Y.) added 11 points, while senior Dwight Wilson III(Tallahassee, Fla.) recorded 10 points and nine boards, while redshirt junior Ben Vander Plas (Ripon, Wis.) also added 10 points.

• Toledo advanced to the semis by surviving No. 8 Ball State, 91-89, in overtime Thursday afternoon. Senior Marreon Jackson scored 29 points, added six rebounds, four assists and three steals, and made a career-high 11-of-12 free throw attempts. Junior JT Shumate added 16 points, while freshman Ryan Rollins scored seven of his 14 points in overtime.

• Jackson leads Toledo with 18.0 ppg, 6.1 apg (No. 10 nationally), 1.9 spg (No. 3 in MAC) and a 91.3 FT% (No. 7 nationally). Ryan Rollins ranks second in team scoring at 13.8 ppg with Spencer Littleson right behind him at 13.6 ppg. Setric Millner Jr. (12.4 ppg) and JT Shumate (11.7 ppg) are also scoring in double digits. Littleson leads the team with a 47.8 three-point FG%,  while Millner is grabbing a team-high 6.7 rpg.

• Junior Jason Preston leads Ohio with 16.1 ppg and 7.1 apg, while senior Dwight Wilson III ranks second on the team with 14.9 ppg to go along with a team-best 7.4 rpg and 67.0 field-goal percentage.

• Toledo has won its last five meetings as well as eight of its last 10 contests vs. Ohio, but the Rockets hold just a 1-6 all-time record vs. the Bobcats in the MAC Tournament. UT’s lone win was an 85-84 (OT) victory in the 1993 MAC Quarterfinals.
