• Peters, a junior point guard, shot 9-of-16 from the floor, including 8-of-13 from long range, and had a simple explanation for his success: “When I take a good shot, I’m a good shooter.” Freshman forward Reggie Perry added 15 points and nine rebounds in just 18 minutes, a performance that came two games after recording 16 points and 11 rebounds against Alcorn State.
