The line for the game is DePaul by 3.5 points.

After a solid beginning to the season, including double figures in his first three games, Tabbs’ play has taken off since Thanksgiving. The Maryland native has registered at least 17 points in all five games since the break, including 28 points in a win over Sacred Heart on Nov. 29, and compiled 23 rebounds and 23 assists during that span. “The game is so different and moves so fast, most freshmen don’t figure it out until January or so, but Wynston has figured it out quicker than most,” Boston College fifth-year coach Jim Christian told the media. “He’s picked up some of the nuances.”

Jalen Coleman-Lands missed the first of what is expected to be several games after he injured his left hand in a win Dec. 14 against Illinois-Chicago. The Blue Demons got by without the Illinois transfer, who was averaging 12 points over his last six games, against Incarnate Word, but his absence could make things tougher against the Eagles. “This is very unfortunate as he was starting to hit his stride on both ends of the court for us,” DePaul coach Dave Leitao told the media. “We look forward to his return to the court.”

Jordan Chatman, the No. 3 scorer for the Eagles, has missed the last two games with an ankle injury, clearing the way for freshman Chris Herren, Jr. to post career highs with 22 points, eight field goals and four 3-pointers in Sunday’s win over Fairfield.
