All-American Ethan Happ failed to record a double-double for the second straight game after starting the season with seven in a row, but the senior chipped in with team highs of 20 points, four rebounds and three assists against Rutgers. After missing the final 23 games of his freshman year with a foot injury, Trice entered his sophomore season with something to prove as his 60 percent shooting from long distance leads the NCAA entering Friday and he’s sitting 12th in the country in 3-point makes (30). The Badgers have already matched their road win total from a season ago as they are just one of seven programs in the nation with four wins away from home.

Marquette got impressive performances from its sibling duo against UTEP as freshman Joey Hauser went 5-for-5 from the floor en route to 15 points and junior Sam Hauser tied his career high with 10 rebounds. Sacar Anim scored double figures in back-to-back games for just the fourth time in his career as the junior followed up a 16-point performance in Marquette’s win over Kansas State with 14 on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles’ 40-33 rebounding advantage against UTEP marked the sixth time this season they’ve outrebounded their opponent with five of those coming in Marquette victories.

Wisconsin leads the Big Ten and is 16th nationally, shooting 41.6 percent from 3-point range.
