The Vancouver Canucks aim to end their three-game road losing streak when they visit the Calgary Flames on Friday. Vancouver, which is coming off a 4-1 home loss to Winnipeg on Thursday after defeating the visiting Jets by the same score two days earlier, has allowed 15 goals while scoring eight during its skid away from Rogers Arena.

Vancouver could be without Jannik Hansen as the right wing exited Thursday’s contest in the second period with an apparent right leg injury after being kneed by Winnipeg’s Mathieu Perreault. The 30-year-old Dane has recorded five goals in 18 games this season, including three in two contests prior to the rematch with the Jets. Captain Henrik Sedin made history Thursday, becoming the first player in franchise history to appear in 1,200 games.

Calgary has had a host of heroes this season as 12 different players have scored a game-winning goal, with defenseman Dougie Hamilton leading the way with three. Monahan (two) is the only other member of the club with more than one and also tops the Flames with four power-play tallies. Johnny Gaudreau, who has recorded a team-high 22 points, also had a streak snapped Tuesday as he failed to land on the scoresheet after registering three goals and nine assists during an eight-game run.

Flames RW Troy Brouwer, who scored the lone goal in a 2-1 shootout loss at Vancouver on Oct. 15, has notched four points in his last four games.

Vancouver LW Daniel Sedin, who is tied with brother Henrik for the team lead with 22 points, needs one assist for 600 in his career.

Calgary has successfully killed 11 straight penalties over its last three contests.
