• Liverpool increased their lead at the top of the Premier League to six points after Manchester City’s second straight loss in midweek. Jurgen Klopp’s side face Arsenal and City in their next two matches and the outcome of those games could go a long way to deciding the outcome of the league race.

• Arsenal have only won two of their last five Premier League matches and are now two points off fourth place with Manchester United returning to form and breathing down their necks in sixth, six points back. The Gunners have a lot injury problems heading into Saturday’s match at Anfield, making this an even tougher assignment for the away side.

• Liverpool’s are unbeaten in their last five home league matches against Arsenal and have scored at least three goals in four of them. Jurgen Klopp’s side are also unbeaten in their last 30 Premier League home matches and have kept a clean sheet in 12 of their last 14 home league games.
