• The line for this game is Duke by 2.5 points.

• Thursday’s contest with Virginia Tech will be the second of two meetings between the two squads over a span of 15 days.  Virginia Tech won the first meeting, 77-55 in Blacksburg, Va.  Duke was without Shayeann Day-WilsonImani Lewis and Emma Schmidt for the contest due to Duke’s health and safety protocols.

• Rookie Shayeann Day-Wilson is the only freshman in the ACC that leads their team in scoring with a 12.0 per game average.  Day-Wilson is the only rookie in the ACC to also lead her team in 3-point field goals made (27).

• Two of the top 3-point shooting teams in the nation will hit the hardwood on Thursday in Cameron.  Virginia Tech ranks first in the ACC and Duke is fourth.

• Duke features six different Blue Devils that have led the squad in scoring at least one game — Lexi Gordon (3), Miela Goodchild (1), Celeste Taylor (1), Shayeann Day-Wilson (4), Elizabeth Balogun (3) and Onome Akinbode-James (1).

• Duke and Virginia Tech will meet for the 33rd time in school history, with the Blue Devils leading the series 27-5.  The Blue Devils won 26 out of the first 28 contest in the series with the Hokies, but Virginia Tech has won three out of the last four games.
