• RB Leipzig are still getting to grips with new head coach Jesse Marsch. They have only won six of his first 15 matches in charge in all competitions and were beaten 4-1 by Bayern Munich and 6-3 by Manchester City at the start of the campaign.

• Despite being eight points clear at the top of Ligue 1 and top of Group A in the Champions League with a win over Manchester City, there are still long-term doubts over Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain. Those healthy margins do somewhat mask some problems on the pitch, as Pochettino tries to successfully field Neymar, Mbappe and Messi together in a cohesive team.

• PSG have actually failed to win their last two away matches in the Champions League, held to a 1-1 draw at Club Bruges last time out. While they are clear favourites, it wouldn’t be a shock if they slipped up in Germany.
